Author L.K. Madigan announced on her blog last week what she termed 'hard news' in regard to her health. It was a dignified, heartfelt, brave announcement that she was battling stage IV pancreatic cancer that has metastasized to her liver.
Lisa is the author of the William C. Morris YA debut award winning novel, FLASH BURNOUT, and the newly released, THE MERMAID'S MIRROR.
The writing community responded immediately with wishes of hope, love and faith and a cry to support Lisa by purchasing her books. Mine arrived yesterday and I look forward to reading both stories.
