iPhone And iPad Apps Gone Free: Doodle Buddy, Animalia, Gene Pool, And More

Today’s AGF list includes an entertaining doodle app, a seek and find game modeled after a classic book, a physics-based puzzle game, and more.

iPhone:

Doodle Buddy Premium ($2.99 -> Free): Use your finger to paint with tons of different colors and drop stamps.  The app also includes sounds paired with stamps, stencils, resizable text, the ability to share your doodles on Facebook, and the ability to draw with a friend via the Internet.

Doodle Buddy Premium is available for free today only (11/14).  It has a three-star rating and a total of 41 ratings.

Apeeka Zoo ($.99 -> Free): A tool to help teach kids about 19 different animals.  The app features three habitats, interactive learning with touch repetition for animals names, sounds, and navigation, and English and Spanish languages.

Apeeka Zoo is available for free for a limited time. It has a four-and-a-half-star rating and a total of five ratings.

Pirate Pong ($.99 -> Free): Pong with pirates.  Instead of a paddle, you must use your finger to deflect the cannon ball back at your opponent.  The game features single and multiplayer modes, power-ups, and 36 achievements.

Pirate Pong is available for free for a limited time. It has a three-and-a-half-star rating and a total of eight ratings.

Revz ($.99 -> Free): An arcade game that requires you to keep the ball rolling.  It sounds easy, but getting the revving motion down can be a tad difficult.  The game features a variety of power-ups, tilt controls, and online leaderboards.

Revz is available for free today only (11/14). It has a four-star rating and a total of 25 ratings.

Mosaic Photo ($.99 -> Free): An automatic mosaic generator. Take images from Facebook or Flickr and have them pieced together to create a beautiful mosaic. All you have to do is pick an image that you want turned into a mosaic and the app will do the rest. The images can be shared on Facebook, Twitter, or saved to your Camera Roll.

Gene Pool ($.99 -> Free): The goal of the game is to merge like-colored cells by flinging them into each other; but only energized cells can merge with others, which is accomplished by bouncing them off of the walls.  The game features realistic physics and unlimited levels.

Gene Pool is available for free for a limited time. It has a three-and-a-half-star rating and a total of 41 ratings.

Animalia ($2.99 -> Free): Modeled perfectly after the book by the same name, this beautiful app requires you to zoom in and find over a hundred items scattered throughout the pages.  The app also features a timed mode, clues, interactive animal sound board, high resolution images, free wallpapers, and the ability to share your scores on Facebook.

Animalia is available for free today only (11/14). It has a four-star rating and a total of five ratings.

Universal:

The Little Snail ($.99 -> Free): Tells the story of the little snail in English, Chinese, traditional Chinese and Japanese.  The app also features colorful images, professional audio narration, and a sleeping mode.
