The portrayal of the American Presidents on screen has brought us a range of memorable characters, some we wish could perhaps run the free world for real and some we thank our lucky stars they can't. When it comes to making a film where the President plays a pivotal role, it's natural for the filmmakers to ensure he stands out from those around him; the only question is whether they prove to be a hero or a villain.
